Wizards in Space Literary Magazine
Wizards in Space is a literary magazine dedicated to uplifting diverse voices and stories, as well as paying all contributors & staff of this beautiful printed book. Born out of the HP fandom community, we've morphed into a community of our own that's full of magic, heart, and story. Issue 07: Bridges & Barriers is coming in November 2021, and attendees of Small Creators Fest can use the code SCF15 for 15% off any merch at our online store.
The Protego Foundation
The Protego Foundation uses parallels from the Wizarding World to fight to end the abuse of the magical creatures in the non-magical world. Our team has been inspired by the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts universe to compare how magical creatures in the Wizarding World and how the animals in the muggle world are treated, and to use that knowledge to empower magical fans to get active for animals and create lasting change. Our Goal is to promote a wizarding fandom that is more considerate of the rights, feelings, and treatment of all creatures regardless of species, size, or magical ability.
Black Girls Create
Black Girls Create is a unique intersectional hub for Black creators and critical fandom. Through substantive but easily accessible content, we encourage fans to celebrate and critique pop culture while also advocating for and contributing to the increased media representation of Black folks specifically, and people of color in general.
